The Official Unveiling of Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management
On Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 The Cave Hill School of Business Inc.-The University of the West Indies (CSHB) was renamed in honour of its major benefactor and long-term, staunch, strategic partner, Sagicor Financial Corporation. At a ceremony hosted at the CHSB Conference facility, the unveiling of Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management, The University of the West Indies was conducted in the presence of more than one hundred key stakeholders as well as local and regional media representatives. Remarks were delivered by Dr Charmaine Gardner- Chairperson, Board of Directors, CHSB-UWI; Mr Stephen McNamara- Chairman,
Board of Directors, Sagicor Financial Corporation Limited; Professor Eudine Barriteau - Pro Vice Chancellor, The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus; and Mr Dodridge Miller - President and Chief Executive Officer, Sagicor Financial Corporation Limited Group of Companies. Dr Jeannine Comma- Chief Executive Officer, CHSB-UWI, accompanied by Mr Miller, removed the ceremonious curtain to reveal the new signage.

The renaming of the business school is a component of a mutually beneficial collaborative agreement which was signed on July 18th, 2014. The significant value derived from the partnership between Sagicor and CHSB-UWI will enhance the business school's capacity for efficient delivery and promotion of programmes which, through advanced technology and a dedicated customer-centred methodology, will improve the CHSB experience for companies and clients of the organisation.
